Just Blaze solely handled the song's production, making it the merely track on Late Registration to non be produced past W and too the just rail from the album that the quondam worked on.[10] He tried the Mayfield sample after nothing was really clicking in the studio and it was the shell that Westward felt passionate about when he played West multiple beats.[six] When asked on Twitter most the story behind "Impact the Sky" in May 2016, Just Blaze revealed that he completed the production xx minutes before West arrived at Baseline Studios.[15] While "Impact the Sky" was produced by Just Blaze, the runway was written by West, Lupe Fiasco and Justin Smith. Def Jam paid for a 'Bear upon The Sky' video that nobody has e'er seen. He came back after the fact and specked out this whole motion picture deal that nosotros know with the cannon and the Evel Knievel matter and whatsoever. And I want to say that was something like 700, 800 1000 dollars."[32]
